Heeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I am terrible!

I am forever late in posting my entries… not just a couple of days late, but a couple of months! *hides*

It was the gf’s birthday. A very understanding one too!

Initially, she wanted it to be at Carnivore but because of my dietary preferance + another gf’s, she had it in Prive instead. Kudos to her! :D

my very first maxi dress! i heart maxi dress.. it makes me feel.. like a woman!!! LOL.

While each of us had our own share, being piggies girls.. we ate everyone’s share too! Y’know, a bit of everything.. just to taste, and not because we are gluttons! Nope nope nope nope nope… not because we are gluttons, OK!! ;)

It doesn’t quite look like a main, but according to the gf, she could barely managed it even after distributing some of it to us! It’s meant for sharing.. because otherwise, can be rather jelak after a few bites. But it was good.

LA Burger + Organic mushroom linguine with parma ham

LA Burger : wagyu patty with monterey jack, fried egg, aioli, avocado, bacon, lettuce and tomato.

Mushroom Linguine : cooked with white wine together mushroom liquer, garlic and mycofarm mushrooms.

Burgers… it’s funny how the gfs and i never, never fail to oohs and aahs over burgers. Like, seriously! Burgers are a staple whenever we dine at places that serve burgers. Strange but true, but everytime, there will be somebody ordering it and it’s always not the same person. Conclusion – burgers are not just for men. Dainty girlies love them all the same! Huge? No problemo, monsieur!

Then we have the mushroom linguine. Nothing spectacular compares to the burger huh?

Just you wait… 1 mouthful and you’ll be sold! Some pretty good stuff here.. but again, not meant to be eaten by just 1 person as well, if you know what i mean *wink* ;)

Eggs Benedict.

Thank gawwwwd the gf and i shared this.. otherwise, i couldn’t have finished it. It didn’t wow me that much seriously. But then, the one i had at Spruce didn’t too. Hmmphh!

Some of us went crawwwwzeee when we saw Truffle Fries on the menu. Given that it costs $10 a pop, i kinda expected quite a bit out of it. Afterall, everything is good with truffles!!

Alas… it was pretty disappointing. Compare this to the regular fries that come with the burger, i prefer the latter. And price wasn’t even the factor in this case. If both cost the same, i’d still go for the regular ones. Mmm.. That says quite abit eh?
