Called the Rumah Rasa (House of Taste), this pan-Indonesian restaurant is located at the newly opened Bay Hotel, just a stone throw away from gateway to Sentosa. The minimalist, wood-accented interiors set the stage for Chef Sharifah’s exciting selection of Indonesian fare, which coincidentally, a cuisine which i’ve not had for sometime — i miss my helper. :(
Worth mentioning : Potato Croquette or better known as Kroket Kentang. Man, i wish they’d ave unlimited serving of this! :P Unfortunately, the soto ayam madura itself was rather bland.

To be honest, this was the first time i had a Tauhu Telor dish this authentic. Before, it was all pretty crappy. Even though the tauhu wasn’t crispy and all (according to Dennis, this is not norm. usually, it’s deep fried to perfection, complete with crispiness all around), i was still pretty taken by it. Heh. I really dig it. Can’t imagine if it was crispy!
2 other dishes which worth mentioning would be Ayam Panggang Berkakak Jakarta and Ikan Bakar Rumah Rasa. So the fish was a tad too bland (something’s lacking in the marinate) but it was grilled to perfection, just like the ayam (chicken). Why i still fancy it then? The spicy sauce. Together, i almost wanted to drop my table manners and dove right in with my hands. Grin. As for the bird, well, let’s just say, i want Chef Sharifah’s secret recipe to replicate this at home! :P
Will i return when i crave for Indonesian Cuisine? Maybe. If i do, it’d be because of the memorable Tauhu Telor. *wink*

Daily Tittle-Tattling...

Bad service. Waited 30mins during lunch before we cancel the orders. Severely under staffed, when the restaurant is half-full, be prepare to wait long. Not recommend to visit.
