Friends and family have been asking, How to eat your granola ah?
*deep breath in*
Here you go!
As breakfast

With milk
The easiest and quickest way for sure.
All you need is enough milk to cover the granola and you’re in for some yummy stuff in the morning. ;)

With yogurt
Probably my favouritest way to consume granola.
Well, perhaps i’m biased lah, because i love love my homemade yogurt to bits but good lawwdd, granola and yogurt? I can eat this 3 a times day and i kid you not.
For some of us who isn’t all that lucky when it comes to daily-long-trip-to-the-loo, i must say, this HELPS! Yogurt? Rolled oat? Wheatgerm? Go figure! ;)
As dessert

The atas way
Many times when i have guests over, the dessert will be the last thing i wanna spend time on. No, seriously. My mains come first unfortunately. :P
After a tiring and very laborious long day of prepping for the big night, dessert that i prepare (usually) will be a quick one and least time consuming. I gave this a thought and guess what i came up with?
Caramelized Figs with Mascarpone, Honey and Maameemoomoo’s Kick-Ass Granola!
Preparation & cooking & plating time : 10 minutes
Method
1. Halve the figs, dip it into a bowl of brown sugar. Sugar side down, sautee them in a preheated non-stick skillet until golden brown.
2. While waiting for the figs, scoop 1-2 tbsp of mascarpone onto the plates. Make a hole in the middle using the back of the spoon. Sprinkle Maameemoomoo’s granola generously next to the mascarpone.
3. Once the figs are gorgeously caramelized, arrange them onto the plate. Spoon in a tablespoon or two of honey or maple syrup into the mascarpone’s pocket and dessert’s ready!
*Warning – Do prepare tissues in advance. You’ll have guests licking their fingers off and oh, there’s really no need for fork and knife. ;)

The casual way
Ahem!
Need i say some more? Really?!?! :P
———————————————
So yeah, this is how i usually eat my granola. Who says granola is boring ah? And no, healthy (think whole grain) does NOT equate to yucky! *wink*
Hope you’ll find this post helpful!

[...] Re: i cook, i bake Granola, with milk [...]
I love my granola with yogurt too! Although I do add a little bit of milk as well to thin it out.
Hmmm look so yummilicious…
Erica : homemade yogurt isn’t that thick so i’m all good. PHEW!
Jeannie : Heee.. thanks!
Yeah, always have it with yogurt. Never had it as desserts, may be I should give it a try. Nice pics!
I totally agree with you…granola + yoghurt = *faint*. It’s SO GOOD! I also just eat it as if it’s like nuts and graze on it…for pretty much the entire day…or until I’ve emptied my stock =.=’ I’ve tried your homemade yoghurt too and it was great, though I do prefer much thicker yoghurt =P
I eat it plain! Simple n nice (partly cuz im lazy too!) :p
Linda : u should. you’ll love it! and, thank you. :)
Dumpling Love : i know right.. SO GOOD! that’s why i can eat it for my 3 main meals too. hurhur. Ahh, as for the yogurt, if you like it thicker, boil longer (eg 1 hour), then it will be much thicker. ;)
Maureen : awww.. i also eat it as snack, whenever i’m feeling peckish… better than opening that sinful pack of potato chips! :P
