After another decadent breakfast at the plantation, we were whisked to our first destination of the day, a cooking school.

Of course, the boys weren’t left out, well.. except for beep who was too young to be honest. So he ended up monkeying around and irritating his brothers. Haha!

Uh huh.. i’ve no issues with the boys using the knives. In fact, beep cuts his own apple since last year. Sometimes, he’ll even cut and share them with me. It surprises quite a number of people, but it works for us. :)

On that very wet morning, we only managed 3 dishes – Spring rolls, green curry and stir-fry chicken with cashew which later became our lunch – we ate what we cooked. Yummeehh!

The boys were SO EXCITED, i tell you. So excited!

i’ve got a bunch of very cool boys! :)

Zipline and high ropes course is SO FUN!!!

But those free drops, totally scared the shite outta me. My old heart can’t quite take it anymore… Dang, does that mean i can’t do bungee jump in the future? Hmph!

Fun activities always end very quickly. Sigh. I wish it didn’t have to end so soon. Even though we were up there amongst the trees for more than 3 hours (we took the Gold pass), it wasn’t long enough for us, and i wasn’t the only one who felt that way. We had the most remarkable and fun team leaders, not to mention, really darn cheeky and adorable.. I think mother was pretty flattered with all the attention she got from them. Haha!!

It was the little pieces put together so perfectly that made the whole experience so unforgettable ~ The fun, caring and beautiful people in our tour, the cheeky, cute team leaders, the breathtaking venue and the course itself. Without any of these factors, our experience will not be the same. ;)

Lunar New Year in Singapore 2013

Every year without fail, the boys and i will take a photo together before making our ways to countless visiting planned for the day. This year we didn’t manage to because beep was crying over his twisted/dropped-out teeth from his earlier playful brawl with his eldest brother. :(

Thankfully all was well an hour after… that was after the twisted tooth being knocked out by the second brother during another playful brawl — grrr (!) and phew (!) at the same time. The loose twisted tooth, i’ve been meaning to extract it myself but beep didn’t let me. Heh!

This New Year was quite a pleasant one. Fabulous weather, plenty of couple time with Darcy, family bonding and spending the entire Nian Chu 3 with bestie and family… what is there not to love? :)

Instead of buying ready-to-hang-decos for the plants, the boys and i spent an afternoon together with my sewing kit prepping the red packets. Complains? (too difficult, ma.. i can’t do it, ma… my fingers are too fat, cannot tie la, ma… non stop for sure but i ignored them all! Haha!)

. Truth be told, i didn’t do any clothes shopping for this LNY except for some lingerie. These dresses are new but they have been in the wardrobe for months and years.

. Coffee break in between the visiting, that was after the husband and i had our 30 min naps in the car, parked in Changi Airport’s carpark. Unbelievable! Haha! But we were too pooped!

. The gf requested for my #ootd so when i was about to click, the hands, the monkey face all made their special guest appearances, not once but thrice! This is what happens when there are 4 boys (big & small) in the car with just one me, the only female.

. Finally, a photo with bestie’s baby girl… She’s totally adorable! And she loves me. :)

Children these days, LNY means 2 things.

When they are not exercising their fingers, it’s Oppa Gangnam Style battle — which i must admit, rather fun! :P

The subject says it all. :)

We had so much fun!

First, it was the ice slide at Sentosa’s 40th birthday bash…

Though the slide wasn’t as smooth as expected, the boys didn’t seem to mind at all. It was their first ice slide!!

After the birthday bash, we proceeded to Sentosa’s Port of Lost Wonder, which was just next to where we were. The boys’ practically went bonkers. Grin. Yeah, this mommy doesn’t bring them out to man-made places that much. Terrible isn’t she? Hurhur.

Truth be told, i wasn’t keen to join the boys, not under the scorching sun especially. But after boy2 gave me his ultimatum, i had no choice but to strut my stuff amongst the daddies and mommies. HAHA!

Luckily, i went prepared – brought my swimming costume!

Being a mother of 3 boys, there’s certain invisible ‘guideline’ to my dressing.

For this outing of ours, beegeenee is definitely a no-no. Heck, i don’t even wear beegeenee to begin with(!) , though i do own quite a number of sets. :P

When i first laid my eyes on this retro-looking swimwear a couple of months ago in Melbourne, i knew i had to get it. I totally adore the cutting.. and i love how well the piece could holds its shape, in case of ‘tie-came-loose’ accidents. I do a lot of piggybacks in the water with the boys you see.. so, yeah.. best kinda swimsuit for me.

Best of all? It was on sale! Woot!

Before i got dragged into the water by the sulky boy2, i was totally chilling out there on the dry side by myself.

But you know what?

I was pretty glad that the boy forced me in, because, believe or not, it turned out rather enjoyable! The boys held my hands wherever i went. I was like their.. ahem, princess or queen if you must (i rather princess still. LOL!) Showing me this and that and we went on the scary slides for some nth time! I screamed of course and they laughed their heads off.. It was really fun lah. So mommies, if you’re anything like me, lazy + hate scorching hot sun + dislike getting wet (laps in the pool excluded), get off your bumbum please. Take my word for it.. and you’ll be rewarded with abundance of laughter and wonderful memory. ;)

Just before we left, i noticed this particular daddy and i couldn’t resist snapping a photo of him with his children and children’s mates. They were hilarious. What an amusing, delightful, pleasurable sight to behold.

The dad was out of this world sporty! The kids, they were all over him, laughing, shouting… So heartwarming. :)

After POLW, we went on the explore a tiny bit nearby.
